RWI Transportation Announces Driver Pay Increase

April 13, 2012

RWI Transportation has   announced a pay increase, effective immediately, of two cents per loaded mile   for all drivers, with one cent linked to a new RWI safety bonus.

Each truck qualifies for a one-cent per mile safety payment on all dispatched   loaded miles on completed trips within a calendar month. This   incentive, an outgrowth of RWI’s ongoing commitment to driver safety,   will be paid out on a monthly basis to drivers who have qualified during the   month.

“This compensation increase allows RWI to remain competitive in our   driver recruting while we reward and retain our existing safe drivers,”   said Daryl Harmon, Associate Director of Carrier Relations & Driver   Recruitment for RWI Transportation. “Quality drivers are critical to   RWI’s ability to service its customers. One thing that sets us apart is   how consistent our volume is, thanks to the built-in freight we get from our   parent company, Castellini,” said Harmon. “This pay raise, the   attractive opportunities we have available right now, and our other incentives   like sign-on bonuses, make this a great time for drivers to join RWI.”

RWI Transportation LLC is an   asset-based logistics company that provides regional and national truckload,   LTL, expedited, and refrigerated warehousing services for refrigerated and   dry products.
