SHAFFER TRUCKING RELEASES 75TH ANNIVERSARY TRUCKS
June 7, 2012
Lincoln, NE (June 6, 2012) — Shaffer Trucking, one of the nation’s premier providers of temperature-sensitive truckload services, has recently released their 75th Anniversary trucks to five Shaffer Trucking drivers. The unique International ProStars are fully customized with Shaffer Trucking 75th Anniversary symbols on the top and sides of each truck. Additionally, the trucks are also unique to the professional who will be driving it with their years of service and career miles displayed on the doors.
The five drivers who were carefully selected by the Fleet Management at Shaffer Trucking were Bill Smith, Doug Weaver, Franck Ciotkowski, Jerry Lemons, and Tracey Slough. The elements included in the selection process were: safety, mileage, longevity, attitude, appearance, and the manner in which these drivers maintained their tractors, inside and out. Shaffer Trucking believes that these are the key traits of a true professional and a driver who takes a great deal of pride in their work.
“Reaching our 75th anniversary is such an exciting and significant milestone,” said Jonette Zeigler, Director of Company Fleets at Shaffer Trucking. “The commitment to safety and excellence by our drivers and non-driving associates over the years has brought us to where we are today. We were very pleased to present the trucks to Bill, Doug, Jerry, Frank, and Tracey. These five drivers are a great representation of the many outstanding professional drivers at Shaffer Trucking who will continue to build upon the longstanding success at our company.”
The trucks were delivered to the Lincoln, Nebraska Terminal and were distributed to each driver in the month of May. To learn more about the drivers who were selected, and to view the customized trucks please visit our YouTube channel: http://youtube.com/cretecarriercorp
